Structural Integration
If you’ve ever felt like your body just doesn’t move the way it used to—no matter how much you stretch, roll, or even book massages—you’re not alone. Structural Integration offers a different path forward. Instead of chasing tension where it shows up, this work gently unwinds the deeper patterns in your body that keep pulling you out of balance. The result? A lighter, easier way of moving, where your posture feels more natural and your body finally feels like it belongs to you again.

What is Structural Integration Massage?
Rolfing® Structural Integration is a form of bodywork focused on realigning and balancing the body through deep manipulation of the connective tissue, or fascia. Unlike traditional massage, which primarily targets muscles, Structural Integration works to release tension patterns that affect posture and movement. By addressing the body’s structure as a whole, it helps improve alignment, reduce chronic pain, increase mobility, and promote a more efficient, effortless way of moving.
It’s especially beneficial for those recovering from injury, dealing with long-term imbalances, or simply wanting to feel more grounded and integrated in their bodies.
The Benefits of Structural Integration
Massage Styles
Improved posture and alignment
Helps bring the body back into natural balance by releasing fascial restrictions.Chronic pain relief
Reduces discomfort caused by tension, injury, or repetitive strain—especially in the back, neck, shoulders, and hips.Enhanced mobility and flexibility
Increases range of motion and makes movement feel more fluid and effortless.Better body awareness

Working with fascia can also help release stored tension, creating a deep sense of relaxation and mental clarity.
Structural Integration focuses on long-term relief by realigning the body through slow, deep manipulation of the fascia—the connective tissue that surrounds muscles and joints. Over time, this helps correct imbalances, reduce pain, and restore ease in movement.

What to Expect
Your session at Selina's Therapy Center is designed to be a transformative experience, focusing on realigning your body's structure and releasing deep-seated tension. Each Structural Integration session with Selina begins with a personalized assessment to understand your goals and areas of discomfort. From there, she applies focused pressure to your fascia—adjusting between gentle and firm based on your needs—with clear communication to ensure your comfort. You may be guided through specific movements to help your body integrate the changes. After the session, it’s normal to feel mild soreness, similar to post-exercise fatigue, which usually fades within a day or two. For lasting results, a series of sessions is recommended to gradually improve your posture, flexibility, and overall sense of ease.
